The following are spec scripts that have gone through various re-writes due to being optioned or requested by a previous producers interest.
The Lot
Horror, Thriller.
Logline:
An unlucky car thief is locked in a bait car in a seedy parking garage when he becomes witness to a serial killer who seems to be abducting priests from a local church.
Synopsis:
Matt is a notorious car thief, maybe the best in the city. On the eve of his retirement he decides to steal one last prize. He finds his final score in a seedy parking garage, a high end sports car.
He breaks into it and is soon horrified to learn that it's a bait car. He is now locked in and must find a way to escape.
Soon after an old white van also pulls in and a masked figure starts abducting priests from a nearby church and loading them into his van.
The figure eventually notices Matt and is amused that he has a passive spectator to witness his brutal crimes.
Now Matt must figure a way out of his current predicament and find a way to prevent the senseless slaughter outside his front windshield.
Logline:

A band of eco-warriors set up a protest on a logging road that leads to a sacred burial site. They soon discover a violent, supernatural force is bent on the destruction of anything who invades the burial grounds.

Dyani Black Feather recruits a band of highly successful protesters to block a road that leads to her people's burial grounds. She needs the protesters to delay the developers for a week so she can slap an injunction delaying the process.
Little do they know that some of the elders have taken matters into their own hands and conjured up a destructive spirit that wreaks havoc on the developers. The creature is a twenty foot force of nature, resembling a Yeti.

A determined female police detective will go to any lengths to find a demented kidnapper who tattoos young women and sells their skins as canvasses to rich art fetish aficionados.
She is reluctantly paired up with a mother and son team who have unorthodox means to help her find the culprit. However there is a curse attached to their unworldly methods.
Synopsis:
Detective Michelle Healy is pathologically determined in catching a serial kidnapper who has plagued her city for the last six month. Having exhausted every lead or clue connected to the case, she is desperate to find a lead.
Her superior officer, who is at his wits end with her, recommends that she consult with a reclusive associate of his, who resides in the basement of an old precinct. She reluctantly agrees and descends into his mysterious realm.
There she meets detective Wan and his mother, together they have an unorthodox method to assist in finding the kidnapped women. Thus begins Michelle's metaphysical roller coaster ride to finding the victims, who's tattooed skin is removed and stretched into canvases, then sold online, to the highest bidder.

A brilliant chaos theorist must explain to two other scientists why he placed the universe into an infinite time loop.
Synopsis:
Three scientists walk into a bar...The space-time continuum will never be the same.

Quinn, a Christian Scientist, can't help noticing that a complete stranger at the far end of the bar seems familiar to her.
As she questions the man in question, Bill, he reveals himself to be a scientist who specializes in Chaos Theory.
He then proceeds to tell her about how he and his best friend invented a time machine and he managed to program it into an infinite time loop.
As his story unwinds, we experience a tragedy of epic proportions.

Bill is a burnt out contact tracer surviving in a COVID crippled world. He assists his clients through a seemingly hopeless future. However there is one glimmer of hope. Bill has volunteered for the newest round of vaccine trials and he may be the hope humanity has been waiting for.
Synopsis.
5 years from now, the world is a very different place. COVID has ravaged the planet, infecting hundreds of millions. The virus keeps evolving so humanity can't keep pace in finding a cure. The future seems bleak.
Bill is a contract tracer with the responsibility of watching over several cases that may be COVID positive. He spends his spare time chain smoking and hanging around gas stations looking for criminals selling contraband (fresh fruit and vegetables).
His clients are suicidal and when one of his more difficult cases borrows a pen from his shirt pocket and dies the next day, Bill finds himself slowly losing his grip on reality,
He volunteers for the next round of vaccine trials hoping that he may be the salvation that humanity is looking for. Unfortunately it turns out that everyone who has taken the vaccine in the latest trial has died.
Should he risk it or is humanity coming to its inevitable end?
Corona man is a glimpse into what the future may hold for us.

Crimson
Horror.

Four University students kidnap a woman who they believe is a
vampire, and begin horrific experiments to extract the gene that
presumably gives her immortality.
Synopsis:
Jeff has gathered four associate students to assist him in his
mission to immortality. They kidnap a helpless woman who they
believe to be a vampire and race her back to a dilapidated,
abandoned building , where they have converted it in to a state of
the art research lab. They proceed in a series of experiments to determine
her gene make-up and the boundaries of
her inhuman strength. Upon proof of her immortality, they
proceed to extract the gene which gives her prolonged longevity.
Segregated and in serum form, they begin to inject themselves with
the gene, with disastrous results. They develop an unnatural thirst
for human blood. They soon learn that evil and blood lust are
inherent when immortality is the end result.
Logline:

Dogs and Zombies
Horror.
Logline:
Three years after a lethal worldwide pandemic, virtually everyone over the age of nine is savagely transformed into a flesh eating zombie. A pack of feral children must use their wits and instincts to battle for survival in the ruthlessly violent new world, against humanity's newest threats, dogs and zombies.
Synopsis:
Set years after a zombie apocalypse a pack of children survive in an abandoned indoor playground. They organize weekly raids to the nearest stores for supplies and food. Their latest excursion leads them to a dollar store where one of the children playfully lights various items on fire.
The flames quickly spread and in no time the entire strip mall is up in flames. Unfortunately this attracts zombies and packs of marauding dogs. The children must now race for their lives to get back to their home. Two of the children fall behind and are devoured, sacrificing themselves so the others make it back safely.
The surviving children search for another strip mall they can raid and happen upon a lone child who can drive a car, (Hudson). They embrace him and find other sources of supplies. Hudson organizes several supply raids but runs out of gas while being pursued by a horde of zombies.
Fortunately they were being observed by an autistic female survivor (Kate) who is deadly with a slingshot. She rescues the children an takes them back to live with her in an abandoned library where she lives with her trained lap dog. The children finally have a safe sanctuary where they can grow and learn.
Over time Kate and Hudson realize that they must move away from the city and find a new home where they can bond with nature. They happen upon a state of the art retirement home and find an eighty five year old survivor (Walter) who travels with two trained guard dogs.
He welcomes them in to live and learn but in time the children learn that Walter has his own thoughts on how the future will be reestablished and colonized. He banishes Kate and Hudson from the complex with threats of death if they return. He has little patience for anyone else's thoughts or actions.
Physically and emotional battered, they formulate a plan to rescue the rest of the children and put an end to Walter and his antiquated old world ideas. The final confrontation is a bloody battle for the future of humanity.

Bad Seed
Horror, Thriller.
Logline:
An underground group of "break-in' artists, who call themselves the "Adrenaline Junkies", are blackmailed into retrieving a genetically modified plant seed, that has the capabilities to grow into a thinking, carnivorous predator. They must break into a military sealed, underground bunker and safely retrieve the seeds for a power hungry General. Unbeknownst to them, they now must battle their way through a legion of blood thirsty, thinking plants.
Synopsis:
The "Adrenaline Junkies" are notorious free runners and acrobats who break into high level security buildings and post pictures of the breech on their web-site, just for fun. The group of physically skilled anarchists live and breathe danger and are highly skilled at Parkour. As they celebrate their latest conquest of breaking in to a state of the art , security sealed museum, their victory is cut short by a heavily armored visit from a military troop. The General of the unit offers the group a deal. If they can break into a high security, sealed bunker and retrieve a vial of seeds, within 24 hours, he will let them go scott- free. The group, reluctantly agrees and takes his team into the underground research laboratory. As they search the corpse strewn facility, they find that they must use all of their physical agility and wit to avoid a legion of carnivorous plants. They rescue a lone surviving female scientist, who informs them that the general has plans of making sure no one
survives the mission. Now they must escape intact, and thwart the General's plans for plant warfare.

Security

Synopsis:

He has no problem extending extreme prejudice to anyone who seems to be a threat to his new employer or his property. After brutally beating and murdering several vandals, he takes pity on a heroin addict and tries to change his demeanor, by removing one limb at a time. This demented sociopath has found a new line of occupation, Security.

A serial killer has placed her underground with several other buried coffins in close proximity, containing guilty parties. In order to save her own life, Julie must call the other buried victims, and tell them a word which ultimately leads to their deaths. Realizing that she is inadvertently killing these people, she must find a way to prevent any more deaths, and save herself from a premature burial. Inevitably it is her willingness to sacrifice her own life that puts her face to face with her captor and makes her see the errors of her ways.

He was inducted into the Canadian Sports hall of fame 3 years ago. This is an inspiring story that explores the cultural awareness of two nations love for one sport.
However most of the film is centered around 8 different matches, played over several years, between the aboriginal team and the miners.

Karl

Karl is an ornery senior, also a WWII veteran, who leads a seemingly peaceful life and spends a lot of time in his garden literally burying his troubled past.
One day a family dinner sparks a dispute about Karl's granddaughters new boyfriend. This triggers a series of events that forces Karl to encounter the boyfriend in a very revealing yet tragic way.
Synopsis:
This the story about a man and a gun, both named Karl.
The man is a retired WWII veteran, who leads a seemingly peaceful life and spends a lot of time in his garden literally burying his troubled past.
He is fiercely loyal to his daughter and her family. One day a family dinner sparks a dispute about Karl's granddaughters new boyfriend.
Karl seems to be a keen judge of character and he develops an instant dislike for Will, an auto shop and detailing owner who seems to have a lack of respect for the older generation.
Karl has an interesting way of qualifying people, he likes to spin long yarns either about his childhood or the war, then gauge the listeners reaction. The initial dinner triggers a series of events that forces Karl to encounter the boyfriend in a very revealing yet tragic way.
Karl opens up to the abusive boyfriend and admits that he can relate to his violent tendencies. Karl's own family history is peppered by sociopathic and abusive behavior, which was taken with "a grain of salt" back in the day.
Karl's escape from a life of prosecution and violence was the the second World War, where killing legions of men was rewarded with medals and honor. Yet now he conforms to society standards and lives a normal life.
He encourages the boyfriend to do the same. In the sum of it all Karl is the protector of his family. He is slight and unassuming, and to most he is the typical grumpy old man, but with purpose.
The gun is a standard issue .45, which was kept by the platoons medic, back in the second World War. The gun was only used for humanitarian proposes, to relieve the pain of a dying soldier on the field, hundreds of miles away from and proper medical treatment, or to relieve a captured allies from torture, interrogation and eventual death. Karl was a form of euthanasia, used for the cause of humanity.
Karl the gun existed within the platoon named the "Dark Angels", and their objective was to relieve the pain of war. It just happens to be a coincidence that Karl the solider was the main user of Karl the gun. He was voted by his men to be the main handler, due to his indifference and precision for killing.
Sixty years later both the man and gun are summoned back into commission, to settle a family dispute.
Logline:

Karl has an interesting way of qualifying people, he likes to spin long yarns either about his childhood or the war, then gauge the listeners reaction. The initial dinner triggers a series of events that forces Karl to encounter the boyfriend in a very revealing yet tragic way.
Karl opens up to the abusive boyfriend and admits that he can relate to his violent tendencies. Karl's own family history is peppered by sociopathic and abusive behavior, which was taken with "a grain of salt" back in the day.
Karl's escape from a life of prosecution and violence was the the second World War, where killing legions of men was rewarded with medals and honor. Yet now he conforms to society standards and lives a normal life.
He encourages the boyfriend to do the same. In the sum of it all Karl is the protector of his family. He is slight and unassuming, and to most he is the typical grumpy old man, but with purpose.
The gun is a standard issue .45, which was kept by the platoons medic, back in the second World War. The gun was only used for humanitarian proposes, to relieve the pain of a dying soldier on the field, hundreds of miles away from and proper medical treatment, or to relieve a captured allies from torture, interrogation and eventual death. Karl was a form of euthanasia, used for the cause of humanity.
Karl the gun existed within the platoon named the "Dark Angels", and their objective was to relieve the pain of war. It just happens to be a coincidence that Karl the solider was the main user of Karl the gun. He was voted by his men to be the main handler, due to his indifference and precision for killing.
Sixty years later both the man and gun are summoned back into commission, to settle a family dispute.

Bowen finds the final criminal in a log cabin of a first nations elder. As he attempts to free the captive, the bank robber manages to escape.
